What problem was Feedsub created to solve?
Feedsub was initially an experiment created in 2019 to use daily email digests as a concept to decrease information overload and live healthier lives. Since then we have pushed thousands of digests to our users. Feedsub also provides value for work, as an alternative to RSS feed readers that natively integrates into your email inbox.
Finally, there is a set of power tools (keyword filters, auto-summarisation) available to further this goal. Some of these are experimental and invite-only.
How do I find RSS feeds for my favourite sites/creators?
You can find some example feeds in our feeds directory. Most blogs and websites have feeds that are easily accessible by searching for them. Services which don’t have public RSS feeds will need to use a 3rd-party tool to generate a feed - we recommend http://rss.app.
How can I use this in my personal life?
Feedsub can help reduce your day-to-day time spent on social media. Get content from your friends and favourite creators and avoid spending time in endless feeds.
Can this help me in my professional life?
Yes! Many Feedsub users subscribe to industry news, mixing content from large publications as well as individual people. This works for both large and small industries.
Can I make a public digest that others can also subscribe to?
Yes. Please contact us at support@feedsub.com to discuss this.
What services do you integrate with?
Currently, we integrate with RSS/Atom feeds, which can connect to most blogs/websites. Some services such as Twitter and YouTube have special integration which is handled by Feedsub. Services which don’t have this integration will need to use a 3rd-party tool to generate a feed - we recommend http://rss.app.
I plan to rely on this long-term. Is there a paid plan?
Yes, there is a pro subscription. If you wish to use our tools as a creator (embeds, widgets, white-labelled digests) then please contact us at support@feedsub.com.
Can I get full articles delivered to my inbox?
This feature was supported by Feedsub 1.0 but is no longer supported. Instead we’re focusing on building the best digest experience we can.
